WOW! where does time go? I had every intention of updating every few days... here the summer is half gone, and my last post was when the kids came home for Christmas!
So I will try to catch up. Last week we had all 5 grandkids here and their parents, we did a cook out over the open fire, and made Vanilla sherbert, recipe to follow. I had much prepared before they came, so I could sit and enjoy, but you know how that goes when you want to make sure everyone else is having a great time.
the little ones got to ride the big black horse, and got to play with kittens, and the older ones sat inside with the tube on.
in all the excitement, I never thought to grab my camera for a grandkid photo.
we have had a string of very hot, humid days as much of the mid west is suffering, so today I made up a drink I shall call it, Sue's Citrus Ade, recipe to follow.
today I feel like I want to be creative so I just might make up a pretty summery bracelet, and maybe even matching ear rings.
I hope you all have a great day!
Blessings
Sue
