Whew, just made up some Italian patties and will freeze them for some night when we are too busy to cook. the House smells like my Gramma's house.
there is nothing more soothing to one's soul than smells that trigger happy childhood memories, ...one for me is my Gramma. She came over from the old country and spoke broken English, always ready with food and hugs.
I so miss my Gramma, but I know she is always near in my heart. her speggetti and
I got kittens all taking naps, so I took a minute for me.
the predicted winter storm is knocking on the door, it is starting to snow.
we are ready to snuggle down and watch the beauty of God and nature.
Have a wonderful day!.

Here we are starting a new month!. Had a quiet day, woke with a head ache and joint pain, then saw there was a 6.2 Earth Quake in Papua New Ginea.
I have all the chores done in the barn and shed (Cat House Cats) lol.. and just going to have some hot tea and watch 24.
have a great evening.

1-31-10 Sunday Post
Hi bloggers!
It has been quite a while since I posted, I will be trying to be much more regular in the months ahead.
I have made a commitment to de clutter and donate or pitch "stuff" this year. I saw a show called "hoarders" and like a bad kid in front of a hardened criminal, I was scared "strait" about the rat's nests full of craft items, and lotion bottles, and tincture bottles and an array of kitten toys, and let's not forget magazines I leaf through for ideas, and , oh yeah.....yarn balls since I taught myself how to crochet.
I have a few more days of gathering tax figures, then even though I have been working on the de-clutter since before Christmas, soon I will devote full time until I am back to a manageable mess.
it seems to much harder since we started to rescue the kitties.... but we are no longer taking in feral babies that we bottle feed and tame for forever homes, because the forever home seems to keep being US!
Hubs is doing very well, I am so proud of him since his heart surgery, he is faithfully following the dr's orders, and we both walk 2 or miles a day, eat heart healthy foods, and are fitting into skinny clothes!
Well, that's it for now, but I hope to add to my blog in a much more regular manner.
hope you all have a wonderful day.
